{"id":9055,"date":"2022-01-28T12:08:34","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T11:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.podartis.com\/prodotto\/wps\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T01:16:55","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T00:16:55","slug":"wps","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.podartis.com\/en\/prodotto\/wps\/","title":{"rendered":"WPS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WPS is a <strong>post-operative<\/strong> piece of footwear designed to treat fractures, inflammatory disorders or pain at the front of the front.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>forefoot-offloading outsole<\/strong> transfers the weight to the rearfoot, making MPS ideal for the treatment of interdigital and forefoot ulcers as well.<\/p>\n<p>The height of the <strong>34mm outsole<\/strong> contributes to a natural stance whilst the angle of dorsiflexion stabilises the gait and reduces the \u201cstep effect\u201d (Novel test 2007). It also allows for the insertion of a balancing customisable EVA insole (included in the kit).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>super-soft nylon upper <\/strong>without an edge trim is suitable for more sensitive feet with skin problems. The protective front edge only measures 6 mm and was designed not to interfere with K-wire work.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> triple-velcro fastening<\/strong> allows patients to adjust the internal volume to suit their needs.<\/p>\n<p>The effectiveness of WPS in offloading pressure from the forefoot has been tested clinically and biomechanically.
