Description
CRISTAL BLUE is a closed-heel sandal devised for the secondary-level prevention of diabetic foot (including in the case of neuropathies) and is also meant for patients affected by rheumatic foot who suffer from joint pain and have major deformities.
The 70% semi-rigid biomechanical outsole contributes to a steady gait and alleviates stress around the ankles and knees, boosting lympho-venous drainage and significantly reducing swelling and pain.
The stretchable upper without seams at friction points adapts to the shape of the foot, softly accommodating any deformities (such as a hallux valgus or hammer toes) and avoiding dangerous painful rubbing whilst ensuring the utmost comfort even in the case of bursitis, gout and marked callosity.
The double velcro fastening means that the front of the sandal can be opened completely and adjusted so it fits the foot (swollen or sore feet). In addition, it has an extra-large fit which easily accommodates big or bandaged feet.
The sandal has been designed for the insertion of a ready-made or bespoke insole.
