LEONARDO is a mule designed for the primary prevention of diabetic foot (including in the case of neuropathies) and meant for patients affected by rheumatic foot who suffer from mild joint pain and have minor deformities.

The flexible biomechanical outsole contributes to a steady gait and balance.

During the gait cycle, the foot joints are protected and pressure is properly distributed, helping to lessen any risk of falling.

The stretchable upper without seams at friction points adapts to the shape of the foot, softly accommodating any deformities (such as a hallux valgus or hammer toes) and avoiding dangerous painful rubbing whilst ensuring the utmost comfort even in the case of bursitis, gout and callosity.

The velcro fastening means that the upper front can be opened partially and adjusted to fit the foot (swollen or sore feet).

The mule has been designed for the insertion of a ready-made or bespoke insole.
